Knowing what to write about and where to prioritise your time will help focus your time on only writing blogs, eBook and content that prospect customers are actually interested in.

Hubspot have a number of useful videos within their inbound marketing academy, some of them are freely available on YouTube.

It will help you think about your customers, how they buy, what barriers they have at various stages... and can ensure you can create at least one piece for each stage, to move them along the purchase funnel.

It will also help you work out how many new visitors you need to attract to convert to achieve your goals. e.g.

  • to get 15 customers,

  • do you need to capture 50 leads

  • from 100 new visitors?

Make sure you think about the keywords you want to rank for, e.g. do you have specific venue or towns you want to attract customers from? e.g. 10 best sewing events in Surrey.
